Total Midwifery CareServing North/Central Broward and South/Central Palm Beach, we offer midwifery care for women who anticipate low-risk pregnancies and and desire to have a homebirth. Our philosophy is one of family centered maternity care, helping women and their families who seek alternatives to high tech, high intervention births.

Childbirth Education Classes (Group, Private and Weekend)

We also offer group, private and weekend childbirth classes to all women/couples, regardless of their chosen birth place (hospital, birth center or home).

The group childbirth classes allow you to relate with other pregnant couples while gaining the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions in your care. You will also learn coping skills for labor and birth.

The private classes will also give you the knowledge and skills needed to help you through you labor and birth, with the advantage of scheduling classes at your convenience and in a shorter time period. Classes can be held at our location in Boca Raton or at your location.

The weekend childbirth class (Friday evening and Saturday day), includes all the information and activities from our six week series of classes. This class is a good option for those who are close to their due dates but haven't found a childbirth class yet or for those that can't make our weekday evening series.

Common conditions and comfort measures for pregnancy

Preparation for labor

Stages of labor and delivery

Various relaxation techniques to be used before, during and after labor

Medical and non-medical pain relief options and other interventions
